Audrey Heinesen, Ed.D., Vice President of Instruction and Content
Dr. Audrey Heinesen brings over twenty-five years of experience in traditional and non-traditional K–12 and post-secondary education, specializing in product development and learning technologies. At JA USA, she oversees the instructional design and curriculum development supporting all JA learning experiences.
Prior to JA USA, Audrey was the CEO/Co-Founder of an e-learning startup teaching life skills to youth audiences. As the CLO, she also led the establishment of California’s first statewide, free online community college that uses competency-based learning in its workforce training programs. While at CIG Education Group, she led product development and digital learning for a portfolio of schools that offer innovative and experiential blended learning. Audrey also has a background in ed tech startups and includes Udemy and The School of The New York Times as part of her successes.
She holds a doctorate degree from Teachers College Columbia University, master’s from Soka University of America, and bachelor’s from University of California, Berkeley.
