María Itatí Cabral, Education & Impact Director, JA Americas

Itatí joined JA Argentina in 2018, leading the Operations area. Together with that team, she promoted the digital transformation that allowed the organization to support thousands of young people and teachers during the Covid 19 pandemic. She led the adoption of Salesforce to optimize the registration, monitoring and reporting of the operation, facilitating the tracking of indicators and sustained growth in the organization's reach. In 2019, she carried out the impact measurement study of JA Company program, generating evidence of the transformation that the experience generates in young people, teachers and volunteers. In 2022, JA Argentina published the first study on Adolescents and Finance, promoting the presence of the topic on the national agenda.

Since September 2023, she serves as Director of Education & Impact for JA Americas. She suppors the work of the 26 JA offices on the continent to reach 15MM young people by 2037, with focus in delivering a relevant portfolio, the coordination of regional projects and the measurement of the impact generated.

Prior to JA, Itatí worked in communication and development areas in the field of housing and community development. She worked in government areas promoting intersectoral dialogue to foster improvements in the education of children and youth.

Itatí has a degree in Social Work, with postgraduate training in Management of Non-Profit Organizations.

She is married to Andrés, and is the mother of Irene and Ana. She is based in BA and feels at home everywhere.
