Partha Bose, Strategic Advisor to Chief Executives and Boards
Partha Bose is a strategic advisor to Chief Executives and Boards. He has had a 35-year career as a Senior Partner and member of the Executive Committees of four major professional services firms: McKinsey & Company, The Monitor Group (now Monitor-Deloitte), A&O Shearman, and Oliver Wyman. He served at each as their Chief Communications and Marketing Officer. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the McKinsey Quarterly.
Partha is the author of the best selling “Alexander the Great’s Art of Strategy” (Penguin), which has been translated into 14 languages. He served on the Board of the Boston Symphony for 12 years and as a Governor of Junior Achievement Worldwide for 12 years, where he was elected to serve as Governor Emeritus.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the MS University in India, an MS from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management where he also served as Editor of the Sloan Management Review. He was elected as a Freeman of the City of London for his services to the City and as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). He has written for and been quoted in over 300 major international magazines and newspapers.
